An all-female identifying artist benefit compilation, 100% of proceeds from LADY PARTS! will be going directly to the Kentucky Health Justice Network: an agency whose mission includes supporting direct services to healthcare access, education and advocacy for reproductive health in the Commonwealth.

Desperate Spirits co-founder Kimberly Conlee Smith curated the release, the second in the label’s series of community-driven compilations benefiting local causes running parallel to Desperate Spirit’s ideology. Future installments of the series are currently in planning stages.

Recorded over the spring of 2017, LADY PARTS! features many of Kentucky’s most prominent, forward-thinking musicians including Coralee, Ellie Herring, Reva Dawn Salon, Ainsley Wagoner and Kate Wakefield. LADY PARTS! is being offered exclusively the label’s Bandcamp page in digital format at desperatespirits.bandcamp.com. compilation of regional music to benefit the Kentucky Health Justice Network.
